Let your hair down and get ready to face off in the pits. Here’s a real heavy ass band. Mad Margritt have already accomplished a lot and this is understandable when hearing this album. After a moody few seconds featuring a woman moaning in joy the album opens with the heavy anthem “Animal” a track that definitely should be on any decent hard rock compilation. It actually continues to hold some grid with songs such as “Looking In From The Outside” “Loaded Gun” and “Ruling Me”. The album is really compact, only 8 songs long and this mix of a short track list and R’n’R tracks similar to each other works out really good. If the cover hadn’t been of a half naked lady I would never have been bored enough to look at it. Mad Margritt is heading for stardom over there in the states. And we can only hope that they’ll grace Europe with a visit sometime soon. Definitely a good album. www.madmargritt.com
